New Template pilots: following feedback from community members, I've been developing a new template for designing e-Learning that incorporates much of the best practice from other models. I'm looking for practitioners interested in exploring the template in more detail and using it to design some e-learning activities. If you are interested in a 30 minute online webinar followed up by support to create some student-centred, collaborative, scaffolded e-Learning then please email me.

Midlands regional group of ELESIG 20 Jan 2010

Apologies for cross postings but you might be interested in the new Midlands regional group of ELESIG. The ELESIG group is the Evaluation of Learners' Experiences of e-learning Special Interest Group and is supported by the Higher Education Academy.

ELESIG is an international community of researchers and practitioners from higher and further education who are involved in investigations of learners' experiences and uses of technology in learning. ELESIG members work together to share knowledge and practice and develop a shared repertoire of resources which will be of benefit to the community and the sector (http://elesig.ning.com).

As part of their small grants scheme, Mr Rob Howe and Dr.Gemma Towle from The University of Northampton will coordinate a Midlands regional group of ELESIG.

There will be two regional meetings, a NING site and Twitter Feeds for regular updates. The first meeting will take place at The University of Northampton on Wednesday 20th January 10-3 and the second on Wednesday 19th May. If you would like to attend the first of these free events please fill in the booking form found here:
